A floor-length pink satin linen anchors a brocade floral damask overlay, paired with satin champagne napkins sourced directly from New York City. English pink poppers arrived from London, while ornate diamond-encrusted butterfly napkin rings dazzled from San Francisco. French blush water goblets, wine glasses, and pink-and-gold chargers caught the afternoon light. Pink, peach, and white ranunculus from a flower field in northern New York State filled individual glass vases at every place setting, giving each guest a warm, special glow. A master calligrapher carefully penned the place cards. Chiavari Ghost chairs completed the scene for a spectacular luncheon at a prestigious country club. Guests marveled at the day's sights, sounds, and tastes during a lovely lunch on the 1^st day in May.
